Alcohol Injured Babies - subscribed for life
The phenomenon is old, the concept is still relatively young: until 1973 called the American scientist David Smith and Ken Jones (Seattle USA), the permanent damage caused by alcohol abuse during pregnancy by name: Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS).
More than 2000 alcohol-damaged babies are estimated each year, born in Germany. They all suffer, that their mothers during pregnancy excessively, durable and morbidly drunk alcohol. How difficult is the relevant disability, depends on how much alcohol the mother consumed during pregnancy and how her body has processed the pollutant.
